Description

Rat Dermal Fibroblasts-neonate are primary cells isolated from the dermal layer of neonate rat skin. These spindle-shaped, adherent cells are cryopreserved at an early passage to preserve their high proliferative capacity and regenerative potential characteristic of neonatal tissue. Compared to adult fibroblasts, neonatal dermal fibroblasts exhibit enhanced extracellular matrix (ECM) production, increased responsiveness to growth factors, and greater plasticity. Rat dermal fibroblasts express typical mesenchymal marker vimentin. These cells are commonly used to study early skin development, wound healing, and tissue remodeling in a neonatal context. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
