Rat Intestinal Mesenteric Vascular Endothelial Cells are widely used to study intestinal microvascular biology, including endothelial barrier function, angiogenesis, leukocyte adhesion, and inflammation. They provide a physiologically relevant model to investigate endothelial responses to hypoxia, pro-inflammatory stimuli, and pharmacological compounds relevant to gastrointestinal diseases. These cells are also valuable in modeling intestinal ischemia-reperfusion injury and assessing drug delivery across the intestinal vascular endothelium.
