Rat uterus fibroblasts, 6-week Wistar rat.
Rat Uterus Fibroblasts are isolated from the uterine tissue of rats. Cryopreserved at early passage, these cells exhibit a spindle-shaped morphology and adherent growth. They function in producing extracellular matrix to support structural integrity, mediate tissue remodeling during hormone-regulated uterine cycles, and interact with epithelial cells. These characteristics make them suitable for studies on uterine physiology, hormonal regulation, stromal-epithelial interactions, and uterine tissue repair in rat models. They express fibroblast-associated markers such as vimentin, and maintain a normal diploid karyotype. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Rat Uterus Fibroblasts serve as an in vitro model to study uterine structural remodeling and pathogenesis in conditions like uterine fibrosis, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. For example, by examining their role in extracellular matrix production and response to hormonal signaling pathways, they enhance understanding of fibroblast-mediated uterine tissue changes and pathological mechanisms, aiding in exploring treatments for uterine fibrotic disorders.
