Steady-One Step Luciferase Assay Kit is designed to measure firefly luciferase activity. Cell lysis and assay are completed in a single step.
Firefly luciferase is a ~61 kDa enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of luciferin to oxyluciferin in the presence of ATP, magnesium ions, and oxygen, producing bioluminescence with a peak emission at approximately 560 nm. This light signal can be quantitatively measured to evaluate reporter gene expression. The AcceGen Steady-One-Step Luciferase Reporter Gene Assay Kit is designed for simple, rapid, and highly reproducible detection of firefly luciferase activity. It features a long luminescence half-life of over 5 hours and exhibits minimal signal fluctuation during the first two hours, making it well suited for ultra-high-throughput screening and 384-well plate assays.

The One-Step Luciferase Assay Kit system is designed for high-throughput, sensitive quantitation of firefly luciferase activity in mammalian cell culture, Cell lysis and luminescence detection are completed in a single step, eliminating reagent mixing and significantly reducing hands-on time. The kit provides a wide linear detection range. In 96-well plate formats, excellent linearity is maintained with cell numbers up to 200,000 per well, ensuring reliable quantification across a broad range of experimental conditions.
