Mouse bone marrow leukocytes (MBMLC) are derived from the tibias and femurs of pathogen-free laboratory adult mice.
B6129SF2/J Mouse Bone Marrow Leukocytes are isolated from the femur and tibia of hybrid B6129SF2/J mice and are suitable for B6129SF2/J leukocyte culture under controlled in vitro conditions. These primary cells comprise a heterogeneous population of hematopoietic cells, including lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes. Bone marrow-derived leukocytes play a crucial role in immune surveillance, hematopoiesis, and inflammatory signaling. Characterized by high expression of CD45 and lineage-specific markers such as CD11b, Ly6G, and B220, these cells can be analyzed and sorted using flow cytometry. They are non-transformed cells and do not proliferate in vitro without stimulation. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

These leukocytes are well-suited for dissecting lineage-specific immune pathways, modeling bone marrow immune niches, and studying myeloid and lymphoid cell differentiation under defined cytokine stimulation. They are also valuable for studying inflammation, hematologic malignancies, and immunomodulatory therapies in preclinical models. They can also be used in adoptive transfer studies or bone marrow reconstitution assays in immunodeficient mouse models.
