Utilize BALB/c Mouse Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells for cardiovascular research, angiogenesis modeling, and murine coronary microvasculature studies.
BALB/c Mouse Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells (MCAECs) are isolated from the coronary arteries of BALB/c mouse hearts. These cells line the interior surface of coronary vessels and play a crucial role in maintaining vascular tone, hemostasis, and barrier function. Morphologically, they appear cobblestone-like under culture conditions and exhibit strong expression of endothelial markers such as CD31 and VE-cadherin. Coronary endothelial cells are also involved in the regulation of leukocyte trafficking and angiogenesis. Research has shown that endothelial dysfunction is an early contributor to the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease and heart failure, often driven by oxidative stress and inflammatory signaling. These primary cells are cryopreserved at low passage to retain their physiological characteristics. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

BALB/c Mouse Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells provide a valuable in vitro model for investigating cardiovascular pathophysiology, making them highly suitable for BALB/c mouse coronary endothelial cell physiology research. They are widely used in studies exploring mechanisms of atherosclerosis, vascular remodeling, and endothelial barrier dysfunction. Their ability to mimic inflammatory endothelial activation makes them suitable for dissecting molecular pathways driving coronary artery disease and testing novel therapeutics against vascular dysfunction. These cells are also applicable in drug screening for agents targeting endothelial repair and vascular inflammation.
