BALB/c Mouse Mammary Epithelial Cells are primary epithelial cells isolated from the mammary gland tissue of BALB/c mice (Mus musculus). These cells encompass the luminal and basal epithelial compartments of the mammary gland, responsible for milk production and glandular structure maintenance. In culture, BALB/c Mouse Mammary Epithelial Cells exhibit characteristic cobblestone morphology with tight cell-cell junctions. They express epithelial markers such as E-cadherin, cytokeratins (CK18), and epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM), confirming their epithelial identity.
