Mouse bone marrow macrophages (MACBM) are derived from the tibias and femurs of pathogen-free laboratory adult mice.
CD-1 Mouse Bone Marrow Macrophages (MACBM) are derived from precursors isolated from the long bones of healthy, pathogen-free CD-1 mice. The cells yield high viable, adherent bone marrow macrophages. These cells exhibit classic morphology and express F4/80 and CD11b. MACBM are serve as a robust model for innate immune response studies, inflammation, and phagocytosis research. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Bone Marrow Macrophages are ideal for applications in innate immunity research, inflammatory signaling, phagocytosis assays, and infection modeling. They serve as a key in vitro tool to study macrophage polarization (M1/M2), cytokine response, antigen presentation, and interactions with pathogens or tumor cells. These cells are compatible with a wide range of experimental techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA, RT-PCR, immunofluorescence, and live-cell imaging, providing an excellent model for bone marrow macrophages studies.
