Mouse primary kidney epithelial cells (MPKIDEpiCs) are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Kidney Epithelial Cells (MPKIDEpiCs) are primary renal epithelial cells isolated from pathogen-free CD-1 mouse kidney tissue using gentle enzymatic digestion and mechanical dissociation to preserve viability and epithelial characteristics, providing a model for CD-1 mouse kidney epithelial research. These adherent cells exhibit typical epithelial morphology. The cells are cultured following AcceGen’s recommended conditions. These cells provide a physiologically relevant and consistent model for kidney epithelial biology, renal disease studies, and drug screening applications. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

These primary kidney epithelial cells offer a reliable model to investigate renal epithelial physiology, transport functions, and pathological processes such as fibrosis and nephrotoxicity, supporting renal epithelial cell activity in CD-1 mice. MPKIDEpiCs are widely used for drug screening, molecular biology assays like RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunofluorescent staining, and flow cytometry. Their stability and adherence characteristics make them excellent for studies on cell signaling, epithelial barrier function, and renal disease modeling.
