Macrophages are cells produced by the differentiation of monocytes in tissues.
CD-1 Mouse Macrophages are primary immune cells differentiated from monocytes isolated from CD-1 mouse bone marrow and peritoneal cavity. These adherent macrophages exhibit characteristic amoeboid morphology, strong adherence, and robust phagocytic activity, maintaining intrinsic innate immune functions. They provide a physiologically relevant and consistent model for studies of macrophage differentiation in CD-1 mice, inflammation, innate immunity, and host-pathogen interactions, supporting mechanistic investigations and preclinical research applications. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Macrophages are widely used in immunology, inflammation, and host-pathogen interaction studies. They provide a consistent model to investigate cytokine release, antigen presentation, phagocytosis, and signal transduction. Suitable for applications including ELISA, flow cytometry, gene expression analysis, and drug screening, these macrophages help decode innate immune responses and evaluate anti-inflammatory compounds. These cells are also valuable for modeling CD-1 mouse chronic inflammation.
