The H69 cell line provides a human small cell lung cancer model for neuroendocrine studies, drug screening, and the cellular pathway analysis.
H69 is a human small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) cell line originally derived from the pleural fluid of a male patient with untreated metastatic lung cancer. It displays classic SCLC morphology, growing as floating aggregates in suspension cultures. This is an aneuploid human male cell line. H69 is tumorigenic in immunodeficient mice and widely used in drug screening, neuroendocrine signaling, and metastasis modeling. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

H69 cells are instrumental in cancer research, particularly for evaluating small cell lung cancer biology and chemoresistance. They support studies on neuroendocrine differentiation, gene regulation in lung cancer, and drug efficacy screening. H69 cells also enable the development of patient-relevant preclinical models for translational research and personalized medicine.
