Human Ovarian Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Ovarian Cancer Stem Cells (OCSCs) are enriched from high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) tissues. They express key cancer stem cell markers such as CD44 and ALDH1. HighQC™ OCSCs retain robust self-renewal, form secondary spheroids in culture, and are resistant to platinum-based chemotherapy—reflecting traits associated with disease relapse and poor clinical outcomes. They closely mirror in vivo CSC phenotypes, providing a valuable model for functional and mechanistic ovarian cancer studies. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human OCSCs provide a physiologically relevant in vitro platform to model chemoresistance and tumor recurrence in ovarian cancer. They are ideal for testing candidate compounds targeting CSC eradication, exploring epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and key metastatic signaling pathways (e.g. Wnt/β-catenin, Notch), and dissecting regulatory mechanisms of stemness maintenance. Researchers can employ these cells in assays for drug efficacy, biomarker validation, and co-culture models to understand tumor heterogeneity, plasticity, and the tumor microenvironment’s influence on therapy response.
