Human Kidney Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Kidney Cancer Stem Cells (HKCSCs) are isolated from primary human renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tissues and enriched for a stem-like subpopulation exhibiting self-renewal, tumorigenicity, and multipotency. These cells typically show a spheroid or spindle morphology under serum-free, low-attachment conditions, mimicking cancer stem-like behavior in vitro. Enrichment of these cancer stem cell populations is accomplished by isolating cells expressing CD133, CD44, SSEA3/4, Oct4, using fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) or through sphere formation under non-adherent conditions. While not pluripotent, HKCSCs can differentiate into diverse lineages within the renal tumor microenvironment, contributing to tumor heterogeneity and progression. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Kidney Cancer Stem Cells (HKCSCs) are ideal for investigating renal cancer stem cell biology, drug resistance mechanisms, and tumor heterogeneity. These cells are suited for use in tumorigenicity assays, 3D spheroid models, and in vivo xenograft studies. HKCSCs are also valuable in studying epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and immune evasion in renal cancer.
