Human (Parental) Stomach Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human (Parental) Stomach Cancer Stem Cells are a population of tumor-initiating cells isolated from primary human gastric carcinoma tissue. These cells exhibit key features of cancer stem cells (CSCs), including self-renewal, tumor-initiating capacity, and the ability to generate heterogeneous cell populations within tumors. Morphologically, they display versatile growth patterns, ranging from spheroid-forming clusters in suspension (tumorospheres) to adherent growth under monolayer conditions. These cells express high levels of well-established gastric CSC markers such as CD44, CD133, and EpCAM. Functionally, they possess the capacity to differentiate into heterogeneous cell populations resembling gastric tumor tissue in vivo, making them highly relevant for studies in cancer initiation, metastasis, drug resistance, and targeted therapy development. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human (Parental) Stomach Cancer Stem Cells, also known as Gastric cancer tumor-initiating cells, serve as an invaluable tool for advancing gastric cancer research and therapeutic development. This Parental gastric CSC line enables the modeling of tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis in vitro, providing a deeper understanding of cancer biology. Additionally, their multipotent differentiation capacity facilitates the study of tumor microenvironment interactions and cellular heterogeneity.
