Description

Human Liver Microsomes-50 Donors are pooled subcellular fractions isolated from normal adult liver tissues, representing a composite metabolic profile across a diverse population. They are enriched in phase I enzymes (e.g., CYP450) and selected phase II enzymes (e.g., UGTs) and retain catalytic activity essential for xenobiotic biotransformation studies. Pooling from 50 donors reduces individual variability, providing a physiologically relevant average for assessing metabolic clearance, pathway prediction, and enzyme-specific drug interactions. This reagent is widely used in high-throughput screening to determine metabolic stability, metabolite identification, and enzyme inhibition kinetics.
