The Human Multiple Sclerosis Leukopak serves as a source of immune cells to study multiple sclerosis mechanisms and therapeutic interventions.
Human Multiple Sclerosis Leukopak is composed of leukocytes collected via leukapheresis from donors diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. The product is cryopreserved following isolation. These leukopaks are enriched in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), including autoreactive T cells, B cells, and monocytes implicated in neuroinflammation and myelin degradation. The cells are widely used in immunological studies aiming to understand MS pathogenesis, develop immunomodulatory treatments, and identify prognostic or diagnostic biomarkers. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Multiple Sclerosis Leukopak provides immune cells from MS patients for in vitro modeling of neuroinflammation, autoimmunity, and CNS-specific immune responses. It is valuable for identifying pathogenic lymphocyte subsets, testing immunotherapies, and exploring mechanisms of demyelination and immune tolerance. The sample supports studies in both relapsing-remitting and progressive MS subtypes.
