RI dependent diabetes, or Type 1 Diabetes is caused by the pancreas producing little to no RI.
Human Type 1 Diabetes Leukopak consists of leukocytes collected through leukapheresis from individuals diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease characterized by T cell–mediated destruction of pancreatic β-cells. After isolation, the cells are cryopreserved. This product is ideal for research into T cell receptor specificity, immune tolerance strategies, and β-cell antigen presentation. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Type 1 Diabetes Leukopak contains PBMCs from T1D patients, ideal for exploring autoimmune-mediated beta cell destruction. These samples allow for detection of autoreactive T cells, antigen-specific responses, and immune tolerance mechanisms. Human Type 1 Diabetes Leukopak support research in immune profiling, early biomarker discovery, and development of immunotherapies targeting T1D progression.
