Immortalized Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hMSCs) are usually derived from bone marrow samples of healthy volunteers. These cells show a typical spindle-shaped morphology and adhere well in culture. Immortalized using retroviral SV40 large T antigen, they exhibit robust proliferation without senescence. These hMSCs express standard mesenchymal markers including CD73, CD90, and CD105, and are negative for CD34, CD45, and HLA-DR. Functionally, they differentiate into osteogenic, adipogenic, and chondrogenic lineages and support primitive hematopoietic cell growth. Non-tumorigenic and non-metastatic, they are ideal for long-term in vitro applications such as stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and hematopoietic niche modeling. Recommended for use under biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) conditions.

Immortalized Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hMSCs) have versatile applications. These cells are valuable for studying the bone marrow microenvironment and exploring how environmental signals influence hematopoiesis. Additionally, they are also applied in regenerative medicine, gene-based therapeutic interventions, cell differentiation and gene regulation, as well as cell-based screening assays. Immortalized hMSCs serve as essential tools for various research areas with potential implications for therapeutic advancements.
