Rat Kidney Glomerular Endothelial Cells are widely used in studies of glomerular filtration, endothelial permeability, and kidney microvascular inflammation. They serve as a critical in vitro model for studying the pathophysiology of diabetic nephropathy, glomerulonephritis, and thrombotic microangiopathies. These cells are also employed in co-culture systems with podocytes and mesangial cells to replicate the glomerular filtration barrier for disease modeling and drug screening.
