Description

Rat Spleen Epithelial Cells are isolated from the spleen tissue of rats. These cells are cryopreserved following primary culture. They function to maintain tissue integrity, secrete cytokines, and regulate immune cell interactions, with relevance to studies on splenic inflammation, autoimmune disorders, and hematological malignancies. They express epithelial markers such as ZO-1. These cells have limited proliferative capacity; therefore, repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
