Hs903.T is a human tumor cell line derived from an osteoid osteoma bone tumor of a 29-year-old female donor. This line exhibits adherent growth in standard culture and reflects neoplastic characteristics consistent with bone-derived tumor cells. It originates from the same individual as the paired skin-derived line HS903.SK. While osteoid osteomas are typically benign bone tumors, Hs903.T represents a tumor-derived cell model useful for studying bone tumor biology and tumor cell behavior in vitro. Key attributes include its tumor origin from bone tissue and its stable propagation in culture, making it suitable for investigations into tumor-related signaling, matrix interactions, and cell proliferation relevant to skeletal neoplasms.
