Leverage Human Fresh Hepatocytes, Suspension, for metabolism, toxicity, and transporter studies, providing a living system for pharmacological evaluation.
Human Fresh Hepatocytes, Suspension are isolated from healthy human liver tissue. Morphologically, these cells exhibit a polygonal shape, with a large, round nucleus, abundant cytoplasm, and rich organelles. They express liver-specific markers, such as albumin, cytochrome P450 enzymes (e.g., CYP3A4), and related proteins involved in glycogen synthesis, lipid metabolism, and bile secretion. Functionally, these cells are primarily utilized for drug metabolism studies, toxicity assessments, and research into the mechanisms of liver diseases. In disease research, they can be employed to construct in vitro models for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), drug-induced liver injury (DILI), and viral hepatitis. Culturing fresh human hepatocytes allows them to maintain specialized phenotypes and support studies of hepatocyte function in suspension. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Fresh Hepatocytes, Suspension can be used to construct in vitro models of liver diseases, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and drug-induced liver injury, to help study disease mechanisms and screen new drugs. Toxicology studies can accurately reflect the potential toxicity of chemicals to the liver and provide a reliable basis for chemical safety assessment.
