Human Muscle Myoblasts, Diabetes Type II support studies of insulin resistance, muscle regeneration, and metabolic dysfunction in diabetic skeletal muscle.
Human Muscle Myoblasts, Diabetes Type II are primary cells isolated from the skeletal muscle tissue of patients with Type II diabetes. These myogenic progenitor cells exhibit a spindle-shaped morphology with adherent growth. Functionally, these cells retain myotube differentiation potential, with altered proliferation and energy metabolism profiles under diabetic microenvironmental conditions, associated with type 2 diabetes-related muscle characteristics. They express desmin. Karyotype analysis shows normal diploidy. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Muscle Myoblasts from Type II Diabetes patients provide a valuable in vitro tool for studying insulin-resistant myopathy and muscle degeneration. By examining their altered myotube differentiation, dysregulated glucose uptake, and inflammatory signaling profiles, researchers can explore related molecular pathways, supporting discovery research and target identification for metabolic disorder-associated muscle mechanisms.
