Human Melanoma Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Melanoma Cancer Stem Cells are isolated from malignant melanoma tissue and enriched for tumor-initiating cells through selection for stem-like markers such as CD 44, CD 133, SSEA3/4, Oct4. These cells grow as adherent monolayers under standard conditions and can form tumorspheres in low-attachment, defined culture systems, consistent with cancer stem cell behavior. These cells exhibit irregular, spindle-shaped morphology and demonstrate hallmark cancer stem cell (CSC) traits, including high proliferative capacity, self-renewal, and resistance to chemotherapy. These melanoma CSCs are instrumental in studying tumor progression, recurrence, and metastasis. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Melanoma Cancer Stem Cells serve as critical models for investigating melanoma tumorigenesis, immune evasion, drug resistance, and metastatic behavior. These cells support high-throughput drug screening, immunotherapy development, and mechanistic studies targeting CSC (cancer stem cells) pathways. Their properties are also suitable for xenograft tumor models to evaluate CSC-driven tumor growth and treatment relapse.
